When you are open in your communication, it shows your employees that you are trustworthy. This also makes it easier for them to seek you out with feedback when they have it. Put systems in place that make it easy for employees to share and receive information, so you can show that you deserve a high level of respect.

As you work on your presence in your business, you should be working on cultivating the respect of your employees. This will take time and a high level of sincerity and openness. But if you can make yourself into someone your employees can respect, you will find additional success with your business.
