This is important because your remote employees will be accessing private company data and information that you won’t want to get hacked or stolen. Having them access this information on a public network could be a huge cybersecurity risk for your company. Providing them with a VPN that they can connect to will protect your company.

Office Equipment

Finally, your remote employees will need office equipment to make their remote work a productive and comfortable experience. Not all remote workers will have a separate office room in their home or apartment, but having a desk and supportive chair can help them to have a spot for work. This can help them to have a better work-life balance since they won’t be working in living areas where they’re usually relaxing. Having a designated office space can also help to boost the productivity of your remote employees. If possible, try to supply them with a stipend or bonus so they can afford some basic office equipment. Additionally, look into tax write-offs and benefits that might be available to them (and you) as remote workers.
